My journey as a UI/UX designer began with my final project at university, which is a dynamic picture book applied to the iPad. It's my first complete interactive design, including an original script by our team, interactive interface design, animation, sound effects, and related products. It was really an enjoyable and inspiring experience that I learned practical knowledge about interactive design by cooperating with others in the computer programming area. It was truly magical to see what we accomplished at the junction of animation, programming, and psychology. Ultimately I decided to continue my postgraduate study in the specialty of interactive media, web & product design, to broaden and deepen my insights and knowledge and to be a better designer.
Over the past several years, I strengthened my interface design skills, user research & design thinking skills, experienced working in fast-paced startups and agile environment. Currently, I'm a lead UI/UX designer at Nextech AR Solutions with an ambitious team to deliver a better AR/3D experience for various businesses(ecommerce, entertainment, and engagement) to boost revenue and gain impact.
I found myself several years down this path while still discovering new things all the way. I still pursue my dream every day, which is being a better me, personally and professionally. Stay hungry, stay foolish :)
Though the course of my journey, I have kept filling my toolbox with handy product design tools and human-centric design methods.
In my free time, I also enjoy creating graphic design and illustrations outside of product design. In daily life, I like walking along the lakeshore, playing with my baby cat Mango(He's a sneaky boy), playing video games or board games, and most likely lurking on Reddit/Instagram/Medium.
